We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our grounds maintenance team.

Position Overview

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will support the day-to-day maintenance and management of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This hands-on role involves turf care, irrigation system maintenance, landscaping, and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys outdoor work, and is committed to maintaining excellent course conditions.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain turf quality by mowing greens, fairways, and roughs to proper specifications

· Perform general landscaping tasks including trimming, weeding, planting, and raking

· Repair and restore course features such as divots, tee boxes, and greens

· Monitor turf health and apply treatments for pests, diseases, and environmental issues

· Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including replacing filters and broken components

· Inspect the grounds for safety hazards such as erosion or sinkholes

· Conduct minor repairs to cart paths, fences, and other course fixtures

· Operate and perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools, golf carts, and mowing equipment

· Assist with light maintenance of clubhouse facilities as needed

· Manage and direct staff as needed

Qualifications

· Experience in turf or landscape maintenance

· Working knowledge of irrigation systems and turf management best practices

· Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with landscaping equipment

· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Valid driver’s license required

· Full-time position with 8-hour + shifts

· Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed, depending on seasonal demands
