This position will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and be a vital part of the agronomy team in keeping our course in championship condition on a consistent basis.  Job Requirements

-Agronomy/turfgrass degree and/or certificate in Golf Course Turf Management from an accredited school

-Good standing in GCSAA

-Person of strong character and integrity 

-Balance of confidence to make decisions yet humble enough to ask for help

-Calm and rational in stressful situations 

-Assist and support Superintendent at all times 

-Proven leadership and management skills, Leader by example 

-Energetic, hardworking, passionate and career-oriented 

-Handle multiple tasks concurrently, attention to detail, actively seek solutions to problems

-Ability to hire, train, schedule, lead and supervise staff to achieve high efficiency, while creating a team atmosphere 

-Interact well with other departments such as Golf Operations on a daily basis or as needed

-Execute accurate pesticide/fertilizer applications

-Trouble shoot/repair irrigation issues 

-Current Commercial Pesticide License, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days

-Supervise and achieve high quality playing conditions, on a daily basis, with a diverse multinational staff
