Golf Course Superintendent – Edwards Park Golf Course – Larned, KS

Edwards Park Golf Course in Larned, KS is a 9-hole course with full irrigation, practice green, and driving range. The superintendent is responsible for maintaining the course in acceptable playing conditions year-round.

Job Responsibilities:

- Operation and maintenance of the course irrigation system

- Fertilization and chemical applications

- Mow greens 6 days per week during peak season

- Mow fairways, tee boxes, fringes and rough 2-3 times per week

- Keep bunkers free of weeds and rake them regularly

- Empty trash from receptacles on the course as needed

- Follow a scheduled maintenance program on all equipment

- Manage the hiring, training, and supervision of additional staff needed to maintain the course

- Work in conjunction with the Larned Country Club Board of Directors to manage the needs of the course within budgetary guidelines

- Come to work on time and promote a clean and safe working environment

- Represent Larned Country Club and its members in a positive manner

Salary starting at $40,000, depending on experience.
