UPDATED 8/29. Our current 1st assistant has accepted a Superintendent position. We are looking to fill
two positions currently. We are searching for someone ready to take that next step up in your career? Our
last two 1st assistants were both promoted to a superintendent position.

and 2026 SJCC will host a Division II women’s and men’s regional golf championship. A bid for the 2027
Division II National championship is being made as well.

Our owner Mr. Steven Craig has made and continues to make the commitment to be one of the top clubs
in the state and region. SJCC celebrated its 125th year in 2023 and hosted the men’s Missouri Amateur in
June 2024. We are currently finishing the grow in of a 19th hole while other on course renovations are
being planned for late 2024/2025.

Salary:
$55,000 – 65,000+ DOE for the experienced candidate

Job Responsibilities:
The position is a hands-on management position working with the Keeper of the Greens, Assistant
Superintendent (2) and Mechanic in all aspects of the operation. The Assistant Superintendent will assign,
participate, supervise, and follow up on the daily maintenance of the golf course, practice facility,
clubhouse landscapes. He/she will develop knowledge and skills in staffing, renovation, irrigation with
PVC/HDPE, budgeting etc. while becoming a well-prepared leader to take the next step in their career. We
strive to provide a great work/life balance with a scheduled work week of 40-45 hours excluding events.
