Mission Hills Country Club was built in 1914, elegantly nestled in Mission Hills, Kansas near the famed Country Club Plaza of Kansas City. The golf course is a traditional parkland style routing with tree lined fairways and strategic bunkering. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow, the course was remodeled in 2006 by Keith Foster. The renovation included the construction of tees, fairways, greens and bunkers. Furthermore, the project involved the installation of a new irrigation system, extensive drainage, cart paths, cart bridges and stabilization of the Brush Creek banks. The golf course reopened on June 30, 2007 to an excited and pleased membership.
The candidate will assist the Golf Course Superintendent and Senior Assistant with the management of daily functions for the operation of the Green Department. Management of the golf course entails direction as well as the participation in the care of: greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, cart paths, drainage system, irrigation system, driving range, club grounds, maintenance equipment and other areas as deemed necessary by the Superintendent.
