STAGG HILL GOLF CLUB IS LOOKING FOR A GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT

Stagg Hill Golf Course is an 18-hole, member owned club located in Manhattan, Kansas, home of Kansas State University. The tree-lined course has Zoysia fairways, Penncross Bentgrass greens and sits along the Kansas River.

The Superintendent will be responsible for the operation of the Grounds Maintenance Department and will report to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: manage and maintain golf course properties including golf course, clubhouse grounds, landscaping and the equipment used to maintain these areas; Personnel Management and Training; Budgeting/Forecasting; Irrigation Systems; Chemical Applications and related recordings and compliance of regulatory issues. Work with the Golf Course Manager and communicate effectively with the membership concerning maintenance practices.

A Degree in turf management, or equivalent experience required. Must have Pesticide License. 
Should have knowledge of all aspects of turf grass management and related equipment. Must have required License/Certifications
needed to apply necessary chemicals. Must be highly motivated, a good team player and detail oriented. Must have the ability to effectively manage and train staff.
